A sudden burst of laughter
Across the silence of an empty room
The fading, wafts
Into the darkness of eternity

Or does the echo of your gaiety
Forever sing
To fill the empty places of my heart?

"Hey...guess who I'm fishin' with today?
One wise fisherman -
And He won't get away!"

Beloved friend,
I weep for me - not thee,
And find myself impatient
With the petty goings-on
While you are finding - answers;
Self revealed;

Looking out upon a promised land,
Walking hand in hand with Truth
The concepts we worked too hard to understand
The dedication to a path;
The joyous crossing that was planned;
..
